About Your Training Session

Your recreational drone training session takes place at a rugby club with plenty of open, unobstructed space — ideal for learning to fly safely and confidently.

Please note that club facilities may not always be available. Training takes place outdoors, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather. Wind chill can make conditions feel colder than expected, and thin gloves can help keep your hands warm while flying.

The minimum age requirement is 13 years old.
Participants aged 13–17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is a requirement for insurance purposes.

If the weather forecast predicts rain or high winds on the day of your training, we will contact you the day before to arrange a rescheduled session at no extra cost.

Equipment Provided

You do not need to own a drone to take part.

We can provide all required equipment for your session, whether you choose:

  • FPV drone training, or

  • Conventional (non-FPV) drone training

If you already own a drone and would like to use it during training, you’re very welcome to do so — just let us know in advance.
